Help for Pause, a mindful Screen Time app from LD Labs.

Common Setup Checks

  • Confirm Screen Time is enabled on the iPhone.
  • Grant Family Controls permission when Pause asks for access.
  • Select at least one specific app as a protected app.
  • Start Pause, then open the selected app to confirm the Pause shield appears.

Temporary Unlocks

When you tap Unlock 5 min, iOS closes the protected app. Reopen the app manually during the temporary unlock window. Pause will re-shield the app after the unlock expires.

Privacy

Pause is local-first and does not collect Screen Time selections, intentions, check-ins, temporary unlocks, or app usage. Read the privacy policy for details.
